As the law was changed in 2003 David then it is NOT indecent to be
naked in public, that IS the law despite you saying "it makes no
difference"

He is absolutely correct.

There has never actually been a law called "indecent exposure", that
was the catch-all term normally used by the media and the public to
refer to the two offences which were replaced by the Exposure offence
by the SOA.

This new offence will (of course), continue to be known by the same
term.

David was quite right to say that Rebustion was being seriously overly
pedantic, to the extent that he was wrong to claim the BBC were
"wrong" on this.

Of course it does, we are talking about the law not
people's perception and not about the GPO! As the authorities actively
cooperated in the June naked bike rides in London, Brighton,
Southampton Manchester and York and there were no recorded complaints
then we can now assume that simple nudity in public is NOT indecent
nor an offence.

Which is true, but has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with his
previous remark.
