As this group will know I am all in fovour of WNBR, and have taken
part.
However I don't understand people wanting to paint their bodies as part
of it (or at any other time for that matter). Surely if we are
celebrating free body culture, our bodies should be free of all
unnecessary encumbrances, whether clothing, paint or whatever?
If anyone can explain the attraction of body painting maybe they could
explain it, because I just can't see it.

Its known as personal choice Duncan, a subject you keep on about.
I have seen some very artistic examples of body art, some are very
professional
I would hardly call body art an encumbrance, if anything it can make a
body look even more beautiful

Thank you Bertie for your usual snipe. However it makes no attempt to
answer
my question. Of course body paining is a personal choice, and I made no
comment wishing to limit people's personal choice. I asked why people
would
wish to exercise the choice in that way - "If anyone can explain the
attraction of body painting maybe they could explain it, because I just
can't see it."
So do try to keep up with the adults Bertie, or just keep quiet like a
good
boy.
I see no attraction in bobbing about on the sea, but it's one of your
favourite past times, care to explain why?
Are you asking for an explanation of why I enjoy sea swimming, or sailin or
both? Or is the question rhetorical? Also, before I invest time and energy
in responding, can you please explain why you want to know -p or are you
just taking the piss?

No. I'm just trying to point out that no matter how anyone explains
something, like sailing, we can still fail to comprehend why anyone
should partake of any past time. I see that you've accepted David's
explanation for body painting, but it still doesn't spur you into
participation though does it, the same could be said for me and
sailing, I totally fail to understand why anyone would want to put out
to sea, not that I object to you doing of course.
