A number of us will be back here very shortly. The censorship has
started already and people are getting their accounts closed for
telling the truth. The inevitable threads about endemic discrimination
against single blokes and the dark trend towards paedophilia in a
number of clubs cropped up in the forums section. This is gritty real
world stuff that doesn't sit easily with the "Shiny happy people" crap
BN is trying to sell naturism as, so those who told the truth are
being "assassinated" for rocking the boat.
We never really expected anything else though did we?

How do you prove a negative. If a message does not arrive, how do you
know that it wasn't sent?

Maybe the metaphor you use is an apt one? When the lookout screams
"iceberg on the Port bow" the man at the helm doesn't stand round and
chat about how big it is, what colour, do you think it will go with this
top etc... Equally if there are allegations of child abuse the
organisation that I am involved withs techniques are to take notes and
pass the allegation upwards, not make a huge thing of it and go off on a
half cocked investigation, perhaps the same is true here?
I'm the one making the most noise and nothing has been said to me, the
new forum is a tool for communicating these concerns, without the bile
and bitterness of disgruntled ex members, it has a funny side to it
too, something URN is devoid of, apart from the 14th disciple of
course.
Reading through your post suggests that you've not actually seen the
forum, perhaps you heard something from someone else and with the
usual human trait you've embellished it a little, how sad you are!
You have no evidence for your assertion and then start with abuse?
Subjects are being raised and points are being put across without the
censorship you imagine, it is a lively friendly atmosphere, in clear
contrast to your post here.
I would suggest that it is you that has used an unfreindly tone, is that
perhaps becuase it's your baby that's being critiscised?
I have no direct involvement with the new forum, I'm just an eager
participant, so of course I'm brassed off that allegations are being
flung about, without foundation I might add!! The new forum is a
breath of fresh air, and a reminder of the good old days of Ian
Battersby's gobare, the real article, even one of URN's foremost
cynic's has praised the forum.

the original phrase was of "paedophilia in a number of clubs" which
appears to have been derived from the discussion about 'dubious
activities' in certain establishments, at no time was child abuse
suggested, so you can see how this Chinese whisper is developing.

Yes we know, but the choice of words is being corrupted from "dubious
activities" through "child abuse" to the more emotive "Paedophilia"
which illustrates the Chinese whispers, child abuse can be smacking,
Paedophilia is sexual abuse, the two can be poles apart, but a nice
attempt at side tracking, meanwhile back to what goes on within the BN
forum, so tell me what else you KNOW to be happening there then?

That style of debate may wind your old pal Jerry up but not me. You
know who said what ant twisting of words won't change it, now moving
on!

Before passing judgement I would suggest you review the evidence first
hand, of course that would require membership of BN in order to gain
access to the forum, or you can get it second hand from someone who
heard it from a friend who knows a member!
I'm not passing judgment on anything outside of what has been posted here.
To sum up you said that censcorship was not taking place, I asked how
you could know that.

mainly because I practically live on the forum at the moment, and I've
seen no posts removed, in your earlier post you wrote "How do you
prove a negative. If a message does not arrive, how do you know that
it wasn't sent" this clearly illustrates that you have no knowledge or
experience of the forum. Posts appear instantly, without moderation
and as yet nothing offensive has appeared but should this happen I'm
sure the moderators (All upstanding citizens.) will take action
appropriate at the time.


So again I ask, how do you know that a message has been sent and not
arrived? Showing that messages that do arrive, arrive quickly is not the
same thing.

I don't know for sure, but I do know that posts appear on the board
for all to see, the moderators also see them and make the necessary
adjustments for unsuitable content, just as they do on the hundreds of
other fora on the interweb.

No I didn't write that, I wrote "what HAS hacked me off is the lack of

none of which are based on facts or your own experience?

I haven't made ant unfounded claims, I have just asked questions, I
think you have mixed me up with the original poster, if you have you can
aologise at your convenience.

You picked up the baton and asked the same questions, that makes them
even more unfounded than the original question. I could go on letting
you try to run circles round me but I have a lot of real discussions
to take pert in on the BN forum, and its fun too, no rhetoric, just
good clean fun.

I have heard nothing but what I;ve read here, and I've commented on
nothing more.

I'm defending a great service to BN members that I've experienced and
enjoyed, when you've been there and tried it I'll value your opinion!

You remind me of Brutus, he likes a merry-go-round argument too!
