Not Spam, as Ive just bought a pair to try, there is a lot more rubbish
in this group than this which looks like being something useful! I get
about 300 spam messages a day filtered out by Outlook and this aint
one of them!

I agree that it's not spam. I'd never heard of these things and was
interested to follow the link. If Jerry wants to do something useful
let him turn his attention to the stuff cross-posted in from other
groups.

Cross posting is a problem, if people didn't respond to the trolls who
cross post then it would die out almost completely (that has been proven
in other groups,

Really?. There's no end of cross-posting to rec.nude, and I see no sign
that that would die out if no one in rec.nude responded to it.

There is a problem with rec.nude solely because certain idiots believe
that "nude = sex", in other groups (of any subject) there is very little
cross posting when if it just gets ignored.

bigger problem is that this sort of
advertiser is allowed to get away with posting spam and that then
encourages other - possibly more prolific - spammers.

It's not a "bigger problem", it's hardly problem at all.

It's not a problem because, historically, certain (now ex) members had a
no tolerance approach to spam.

I thought that adverts relevant to naturism were permitted by the charter.
As so ,many naturists seem to think that stick on flip flops are a good idea
then the advert must be relevant.
Anyway Jerry has generated so many pointless messages over this he couild be
classed as a spammer!
