Do you think that is more to do with acceptance into the mainstream (as
per your earlier post in the thread) or more to do with the esacy acces
of advertising and promotion through the Internet? Perhaps, some other
factor that I am not aware of?

probably a combination of several factors including the high cost of
admission to many exhibitions. We did go to one last year at Excel, but
only because we had cheapy tickets (I could have used press pass again),
but for your average family they are expensive to attend.
With the Boat, caravan and Leisure Show at the NEC many naturist families
used to make it a day out (using the stand as a cloakroom) as there was
lots of things to participate in - ie flight simulator, competitions on
the MAFF stand, Customs dogs demos. Now there are fewer holiday companies
and many more caravans, motorhomes etc - there are only so many of them
you can look at.

The whole strategy of going to show or not (for BN) begs the question of
what BN is for. Is it a sort of super travel agent to convert the general
public to naturism? If so why? Surely it is the job of travel companies to
promote themselves. BN should be trying to enable people who want to be
naturists to do so, not wasting its time and money trying to persuade people
who are not interested to take a naked holiday.
