They're running the big bike race again and a couple of people have
purchased suitable bikes in the last few months so get your entries in
and get out there on your local green lanes to practice.

I'll be busy that weekend but will be there in spirit with you when you
line up on the start grid full of testosterone raring to give it
everything.

It can't possibly be as muddy as it was last year so the hills that
caused so much trouble will be simple, the deep ruts that threw riders
towards barbed wire fences will be mere scrapes in the top soil and the
streams will be a distant memory because of the drought.
