He was stopped due to ANPR flagging up no insurance iirc, & as he said

As it said in Champ's post in this thread if I had read it all instead of just the legalese part.
Curious. Still doesn't alter my original observation about plod. Factor in all that paperwork for a nick of someone not on the scene if they couldn't find anything else wrong, and the outcome isn't surprising.
