*Ding* - they don't have much choice, but the stuff they do sell is miles cheaper than I've seen it elsewhere. Actually I bought my last pair of specs from them as well and thought I got a reasonable deal.
Some stuff *is* cheap all the time (e.g. car batteries and engine oil, /some/ alcohol, cheese (esp. goat), bread and cakes); other stuff isn't much different or is more expensive.
Meat was always good IME. Washing powder also.
I don't think the meat is especially cheap, but it's always very nice.
Oh, and their pikey cafe is *very* cheap, but *very* pikey.
I was never that pikey.
It's great if you've got kids, as it caters pretty much directly to them (pizza, hot-dogs, etc.) and the food is tasty, if crap.
