I've got a front wheel that I was going to eBay, til I noticed that it
has a slight deformity in the rim. It's not huge (you have to look
carefully for it), but once you see it, it's obvious.
Can anyone recommend somewhere that would be able to fix it? Would
the costs likely outweigth what it's worth (about 150 quid)?
Just ebay it with a proper description.
Rationale: people think they will save money by buying something which
is cosmetically damaged. This means that a thing that needs work to
bring it up to scratch will sell for more than a theoretically perfect
example minus the cost of the work.
yes, that could work, and it could also fail too.
