Bluetooth GPS?? FOAK ...

I currently use a combined PDA/GPS (Mitac Mio 168, badged as a Navman
PiN) and it's been fine. Used as Sat-Nav with Tom Tom Navigator and as
a 'proper' map-reader with Memory Map for when we're following off-road
routes. I've got used to also using it as a PDA, Archery
score-keeper/recorder, timer, contact library, verbal note-taker,
calendar/organiser etc ... but it's getting old and a bit flaky now,
with the power connector getting a tad weak.
So, I've decided on something like a Dell Axim X51V PDA as replacement,
with Bluetooth and Wifi capability .. but this doesn't have GPS antenna
built-in, it has to work with an external GPS receiver/Antenna. I've
never really used Bluetooth other than transferring the odd pic from
camers phone to laptop.
So does anyone have any recommendations for good Bluetooth GPS
receiver? Are they all much the same, does price matter, can they be
easily transferred from the PDA to, say, a laptop or smartphone. More
interested in quality and the ability to be used outside the
car/vehicle so needs either good internal battery life or replaceable
battery capability.
Cheers.
