I suspect it's the "Di$ney" effect.

Having read the link of critisisms I'm getting that impression. Their
policy of unequal benefits for gay people vs hetrosexuals isn't really
on in this day and age, but the rest of it makes for a fairly
wishy-washy list in the grand scale of things. Even the BBC is more
offensive.
