Is my GPS crap on its own or do they all show coordinates in decimal
rather than deg/min/sec.x like all maps?
Get over to alt.satellite.gps where your sort are tolerated.
It might help if you told us what GPS you've got, I CBA to
look at my Garmin 2610 ATM but I believe it is configurable to
display in either decimal or D/M/S.
I've just taken advantage of the £/$ exchange rate to update the mapping on
my Garmin 2610 so have it to hand.
It seems the format is N 50deg51.098min E 2deg53.251 min and I can't find
anything in the options to change it to decimal.
Mapsource, the accompanying software for route planning on your PC, can use
about 30 different formats.
