Forgive me if I'm wrong, but the above does smack of double standards
given the first two quotes above appear to be an essential part of
your reasoning for the details of the crash and what exactly has
happened to the bike as result should be left down to the owner to
post...

You're google skills seem to have missed out a few details about the
Ebay bit...

....such as?

Either Nige had all the faults rectified by the dealer before he sold
it on in fully working order, or he didn't.

From what else was said at the time, it would appear to have been the
former, regardless of all the stick he got for some time afterwards.

"Throw enough mud and eventually some of it will stick...", as is the
UKRM way at times, no?

but what the hell, I didn't bring any of that up and I'm not
going to.

What I posted above wasn't meant as a dig... it was just an
illustration of how you've come across to me at least, given the
comments quoted and how they seemingly directly conflict with each
other.

You also seem to think I'm saying the bike should be bodged back
together and sold, I'm not.

No, that's not what I'm thinking (or saying), at all...

In the first instance you appeared to be suggesting that it's a
cardinal sin for someone not to reel off the problems a bike may have
recently had before sale, yet today you appear to be suggesting 'keep
ithe issues quiet in case the owner wants to sell it later on'.

Can you now see what I'm getting at?

As I said, it wasn't a dig, more a pointer at how you're possibly
coming across to some who've been here more than five minutes.
