I have to admonish myself before it comes out into the open.
I had mega probs working out where to fit the TomTom Rider v2 on the K100RS.
The bars are quite narrow and have rather tight cable routing, not to mention the rubber cover housing the ignition and switches.
Drilling the fairing was toyed with amongst other ideas, but I finally settled on one solution.
4 x Neodymium Iron Boron disc magnets with countersunk 6mm holes that would mount very nicely on the back of the tomtom's plastic cradle.
Thus allowing a nice neat mount on the tank for the unit.
It took a visit from the wonderful mr packer last night to point out the error in my plan........
1st pint in Belgium to the one who spots the obvious.
Bit of araldite and some furkling, and you stick one of the maggies to te inside allowing the Tom-Tom to go on the outside. Jobs a goodun.
