A tricky excel question...
How can I format -ve numbers so that the -ve sign is at the top-left of
the number and not in middle-left.
I need it this way as I've just taught my class [1] this way and I don't
want to confuse them.

In my bad old EDIFACT days, negatives where notated thus: 999999999-
BTW. I cannot grasp what you mean. Perhaps some English lessons might be
in order.
