Last wee I receive a letter from DVLA which was a confirmation of SORN for

Strange, because I have not sorn'd the bike
Phoned DVLA and they say it must have been a keying
error on their part and to ignore it.
I then receive a Tax Disc reminder, correctly dated for end Sept. So, I go
online today but their site tells me its not required as the "licence start
date 1.09.2007 SORN not due"
Confused I am. OK i've only had the bike a couple of months but I have the
V5 in my name. Fowlers say they have no idea.
Perhaps my reg is cloned elsewhere? if so, why would they tax it?
So whats going on FOAK? any ideas?
Sounds very odd.
Have a looksie at your V5 and make sure the VIN on your bike is
exactly as you expect. I think someone on here posted recently about
some error which showed up when the first MOT was done where the
dealer had ordered two bikes for two different peeps but slapped the
wrong registration plate on the wrong bike but the VIN was only a
couple of numbers out.
