About 600 miles single-engine over water? You're mad, you are. The highest mountain in the British Isles is Ben Nevis, at 4409". If you fly 5000" QFE, you can zoom around, blindfolded, forever or until your fuel runs out, and not bump into anything apart from other aeroplanes.
