I had big connectivity problems a few weeks ago. When I could get onto the Telewest status page, is seemed like the whole network was crashing down round their ears, judging by the number of major outages listed. So I reckoned that was what the problem was, and they'd already be on it, so I gave it a day or two, but it got worse, not better. Phone the helpline: no, I shouldn't be having problems. They sent a man round, who eventually discovered that one of the boxes down the street was full of water...
