I ordered some 240v LED replacements for GU10 fitting from an on-line shop
yesterday and they were waiting for me when I got home from work. Well done
to http://www.greenshop.co.uk/

Best of luck getting any useful illumination out of the sodding things. Also
the cheaper ones flicker quite badly too. Don't be at all surprised if they
only last about 6-8 months either. I've had about 75 pcs of various mains
voltage LED retrofits on trial in my lab at work for just over a year and
almost all without exception blow goats. The best individual result I've had
so far is just over 80% survival at 5670hrs running time. Disappointingly so
far there have only been 6 which have failed in a 'non-quiescent manner'
(caught fire). I was expecting many more than this having examined their
circuitry and build quality.
