I am mulling over the idea of getting it for the Sprint ST, even though
the bike is (currently) bog standard.
Anyone?
Yes.
I've got one, I use it my 2002 Triumph Tiger. My use so far has been to download the Triumph race tune when swapping cans and I have one of these removable baffle type things so when I want to be a good boy (and take a pillion to save their ears a bit) I can pop the baffle in and just put the standard tune back on it. Swapping back and forth takes a few minutes, hence for me its well worth the money.
The other thing I've found is even with the standard can on you can get a mapping that irons out the flat spot at about 4000rpm and appears to improve performance, it certainly felt a lot torquier.
I rate it, and the support is top notch as well. I've dealt with them in Oz, http://www.tuneboy.com.au/Support/Support.html has their support addy plus a list of tunes. Theres more out there on the net as well, on the Triumph Rat site I think.
Pete.
