In article <xn0f6v9qodwgrb000@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, sweller says...
I've just uploaded a torrent to UKRMNova of "The Way They Were" a 1984
retrospective hosted by Tony Wilson of the 'new wave' bands who appeared
on Granada TV in the 70s.
It's worth it for the adverts alone (which I left in) but it also has Joy
Division, Siouxie, Iggy Pop, XTC, John Cooper Clarke, Wreckless Eric, Ian
Dury, Penetration, Blondie, The Jam, TRB, Elvis Costello, Nick Lowe,
Magazine (see a very young Mick Hucknall in the crowd), Sham 69 and many,
many more.
On this topic, did everyone see "Football's Gone Soft", a David Baddiel
programme about 70s and 80s football?
It was highly amusing. The haircuts alone were a hoot.
