Crikey - nice photo!

I have a couple more if you want the full size copies?

Love to. Can you post them up?

Christ yes, don't email them, FFS.

That way, only Champ would see them.

Much as I'd like to pour scorn upon old grey-hair's ego, I'd quite like
to see them too.

Careful with that plate.

<thinks>

You're going to try and remove it for the titanium, aren't you?

Doubt it. That would involve blood and fainting and ***. I was *so*
glad when they told me the plate would be staying in.

Look, I don't know about these things, I've never broken a bone before
(other then my nose).

Is it supposed to hurt? It really doesn't. It gets a bit uncomfortable
at night, in a "*** me, I wish I could just..." stylee, but it just
doesn't hurt.

Is that a bad thing?

No, they hurt more when you've just broken them. Once they're set the
pain just sort of goes and a nagging dull ache sets in, until you twist
it slightly, and then it's like someone got a blowtorch on it.

I've got that in the lamest way (ie it's a tiny area) with the top joint
of the index finger of my right hand.

I busted it to *** after an off-road spill, splitting the bone down the
middle, from the top to bottom. It healed beautifully, but every now
and again I grab something (usually, weirdly, something with a handle,
like a full mug of coffee) and the pain is excruciating for a split-
second, until I move where the load is biting, at which point it stops
just as fast.

And yet I've tried (coz I'm odd that way) prodding the bone with the
sharp end of chopsticks to see if I can replicate the event, but I
can't.
