It's interesting how there's - traditionally - different methods for
killing different animals: drowning kittens, stamping on
cockroaches, biting heads off chickens etc, when in fact any of
these methods would work on any of the animals.

Judging by the lack of scars on your face/neck area, you clearly have
NOT tried to bite the head off a kitten... Trust me, it's not as easy
as you may think...

I've seen my mother wring the necks of armfuls of chickens. I've seen it done with a rabbit, and I've no doubt it would be equally effective with a kitten. Break the little blighters' necks and avoid all that baroque nonsense with sacks and bricks.

Biting the heads off cockroaches however.....

Madness, and unhygienic to boot. Stamp on 'em, just like you would do with chickens, kittens et al.
