According to the diet software I'm using, my daily commute by bike (
about 2.5 hours there and back) uses about 400 Kcalories..seems like a
suprising amount doesn't it. Probably why I feel so tired today!

Taking a daily average energy consumption of 2500 for an adult male,
spread evenly over 24 hours (not exactly scientific, but for ***-packet
calculations it'll do). That gives 105 calories per hour without any
specific additional activity. Compared with the 80 per hour you're
managing on the bike, it seems surprisingly low.

Your figures are way out, did you calculate them on a *** packet?

Which bit of "not exactly scientific, but for ***-packet calculations

Sitting, eating a donut will use approx 250 cals per hour.
Jogging will use approx 300 cals per hour.

And according to his s/ware, riding a motorcycle uses 80 cals per hour.
So he'd be better off sitting on the sofa, whether watching Jeremy Kyle
or eating a donut as you'd prefer.

Wait, you were trying to agree with me, right?
