Well, it *is* the right size for him.
Exactly why I suggested it.
The R1200GS is to date the only bike I've ever ridden that I felt fit
me comfortably, and I'm a mere 6' 1" tall. Most bikes are made to fit
smaller riders, presumably because the makers want to exclude the fewest
possible customers from buying their product.
