Personally, I like the TomTom brand a lot. That's what I always
recommend to people who want one, because I was so resistant to GPS/sat
navs at first, then I tried a TomTom and it was really easy to use and
I was sorry I'd waited to try one, becuase it was really as useful as
everyone had told me. I have read good reviews of both the TomTom 510
and 910 - though the 910 costs a little bit more it comes with a lot of
nifty features (text to speech, iPod connectivity) and maps of the US
and Europe. The 510 is less expensive, but still seems to be a good all
around device.
