There are actually loads of parallels - both give a feeling of
isolation (the rest of the world doesn't exist), of speed, of riding
the edge, pushing the angle of lean and the grip, etc. etc.

Plus getting pissed once or twice a year with people you wouldn't normally
associate with ;-)
