you could do wheelies down the high street and get away with it.

It would've been nice to know, but I spent last weekend riding without a
plate. I hadn't noticed it had bailed on me and no bugger thought to mention
it, not even the half dozen plods I passed. Doesn't seem to be much of an
offence these days.

I've a mind to give it a try this weekend, but I *know* I'd get pulled.
Apparently though, it's still not a points scorer, just a fine.
