Look harder. I have seen them - in fact, I've got some at home, bought
to fit a radiator, which I never got round to and was eventually
fitted by the bods putting in our new boiler.
If you can describe in more detail, pref with diagram, what you're
looking at, I'll see if what I've got would work.
I'd just done a nice bit of ASCII art and hit the wrong button and it
all disappeared.
It's too much hassle to do it again, but if you said you've found them,
then I'll have to look harder. Otherwise I'll go for a compression
joint. No one seems to have supported the leak-pate idea, so I assume
it's a no-no.
