My name isn't on the V5 as he needed to be registered keeper to insure
it. As you say, if I sell it on open market then I'll see how it all

The important thing is to regain possession if he cannot produce the cash
immediately. It will be very difficult for you to recover your equity if
the fucker flogs it: after all he's only parted with the original £1200 so
far and could return a tidy profit if he flogs it for £2500. Even if he
gets done for fraud you'll still be out of pocket.

Bikes in my garage with a chain round its back wheel. whilst I 'want' to
trust him I can't afford to lose £2K. whilst he was with SIL there was a
guarantee type feeling, now thats all gone
