Ignore his earlier books[1], and read the "Queendom" series, starting
with "The Collapsium", the "The Wellstone", "Lost in Transmission" and
finishing with "To Crush the Moon".

[1] though his non-fiction book "Hacking Matter" is worth a read if
you're interested in the current state of the art of nanotechnology.
