I've arranged insurance from a confused.com quote for 2 [1] years out of
the last 3. I didn't use their recommendation last year because Egg did a
promo that gave me £50 cashback onto my VISA card which tipped the balance
in Egg's favour.
[1] on both occasions I've ended up with policies underwritten by Hastings
but sold under different names [2]. Quotes from Hastings Direct themselves
have always been more.
[2] Kwik-fit[3] insurance in 2003 and People's Choice this year.
[3] No, I didn't like giving them money
