OT: IT Training

Even though I am EKS, I have been told that it would be seen as
A Good Thing by my current client[1] if I broadened my range of
development skills as I would then be seen as an extremely valuable
team member what with also having the product knowledge having
been here for 18 months. This probably means .NET, and C# in
particular.

Now having done VC++ for the past 13 years I can't see this being
a problem but I do think that a proper course would be in order.
I have taken courses with both QA and Learning Tree but all were
over 12 years ago.

Has anyone had any recent dealings with either of these and who
are considered the better? Or is there any other company out there
that I should look at? Bear in mind that this will be my own
hard-earned
paying for this[2] I'm looking for value for money as well as good
technical & hands-on training.

Are there any specific courses I should look at?

TIA

[1] Actually, my client's client (an investment bank) as I am EKS with
a
consultancy who work within the bank. The bank have expresed the view.
[2] One of the joys of EKS-dom - pay for your own training but I do
think
that it will be worth it in the long run.
