FOAK: XP won't load web pages.

I've installed XP Pro 64 on a separate disk, & can ping & tracert, but
not load any websites apart from Google. The network settings are
identical to those on my Win2k disk, which works fine.
I've tried disabling the firewall, & set the IE security level to low,
but still no joy. This is the first time I've played with XP so don't
know its foibles. Any suggestions on what's wrong?
