You don't understand, really.

A lot of sports 600s are quite peaky - the powr is stacked high up the
rev range. A Fazer Thou makes power everywhere. Yank open the throttle
at, say, 4,000rpm on a 600, and not a lot happens. Do that on a Fazer
and it takes off.

And learners *do* over-open throttles, just like they over-brake. It's
not all cold hard 0-60 stats, and the fact that you seem to think it is
proves my point entirely.
