Yeh, something 4 stroke, or a pedal cycle.

Electric twist-and-go. There's a new one that doesn't look like it's been built as a 6th-form project. The daft thing is it's about twice the cost of a comparable 2-stroke. Mind you 10 pence to recharge and a 60 mile range (if I remember correctly).
