1. I would say "It's Windows", but it's not that. It's okay and is a
fairly decent OS for a Smartphone, but there are a lot of bugs. Whether
these be MS bugs or Orange bugs, I don't know. There are also a few
dodgy workarounds. For example, when you filter calls, it goes through
a visible sequence, that seems to me that someone has programmed the
phone to send a sequence of keys.

2. But it takes bloody ages to "boot up" (in the order of around a
minute or so).

3. It does slow down quite a bit, when you have a number of
applications running. Fairly normal, but I think that the problem stems
from the fact that certain applications don't always shutdown properly
and remain in memory.

4. I don't like the fact that it's Orange branded. Mind you, it's only
sold buy Orange in Europe, I believe. And it's not possible to buy a
non-branded phone.

5. Orange have this habit of locking down their phones, so that you can
only do things with them (e.g. Software development, Phone upgrades,
etc) with their acceptance. For example, I can't upgrade my K700i with
the Sony Ericsson upgrade service, as "My provider doesn't allow me to
use this service". If I buy something or use a service, it's for me to
decide how I use that service. If the service provider doesn't like it,
then they can tell me to go elsewhere. Considering my phone bills are
in the order of between £200-£600 per quarter, I don't think that
they'll do this.

6. It's fucking ugly.

7. The camera is *** (640x480) and there's no flash/light.

One of the few things it does have going for it, is that the battery is
good. Also the fact that you can lob in memory cards. TBH, I stuck in a
512Mb card but never use it.

The thing is, that they may not be 'practical' reasons for not liking
the phone, but the main one is that I don't feel comfortable with it.
You know, when something doesn't click?
