I think you'd need a 120cm or even larger dish to receive Sky that far
south. Ours is 90cm and still struggles on some channels when the
weather gets bad.
Just dug around some old links and found the footprint map at
http://www.astra2d.com/footprint.htm which suggests that the south of
Spain will need a 2.8m dish for reliable reception. That's fucking
_huge_.
As for non-Sky stuff, there's _loads_ of channels on several
satellites. http://www.lyngsat.com/ is a good starting point to find
what's available.
Several other sites about getting UK (sky) TV abroad exist, including
http://www.angelfire.com/me2/europetv/sky.html and
http://www.securesatellite.net/ which is Spain-specific.
But yes, I guess you'd want a Spanish site to find out about Spanish
language channels.
