I need a bigger keyboard and a bigger screen - I have to take my glasses
off to read the text on this Eee - not to mention having to stick my
face in it innit.

This might be a whoosh [1] but if you're using Thunderbird as your newgroup client you can press the "Ctrl" and "+" keys to zoom in.

Not in tryping mode though. Maybe Thunderguts 3 does, but I'm sticking with v.2 until Leetkey will go on without playing with complicated shell-scripts.

Handy for reading, but I'd like it to o the same when my fingers are getting tangled.

Very handy when catching up on the big screen telly in the living room ;-).

Never noticed that there - have I got one?

[1] Having just spent £550 on a pair of exotic varifocals I just need to adjust the angle of my head to zoom in.

I have varifocals too, but I'd have to raise the Eee at least a foot before neck-cricking is cancelled.

Then my fingers would get in the way...

So I take the hooters off.

On the new secondhand Acer I'm taming ATM, there's no promble at all, with or without glasses. Soon, I'll be able to tip XP off it and Linuxury! When I were lad, all I 'ad were CP/M, 'appen.
