In 1983 I had a Uni-Trak GPz550 and lusted mightily after the
GPz750 Turbo.
Me too except I had the GPz750-A2 .. a friend had the E1 and on the occasion I had a go it was great fun :)
In a fit of stupidity I sold the GPz550 and bought a KZ750E2, which
was a fine bike but never spoke to me quite the way the little GPz
did. I found the 750 for sale years later and blagged a go on it,
and was surprised at how decent it still was after 15 years in
unknown hands. Somehow it had fewer miles on the clocks than when
I sold it, but the seller swore up and down it was the genuine
mileage and it hadn't turned over 100k. Hmmm.
