As for the battery chargers only topping up to 60% of battery capacity I don't
know where your informant got that from. He was not trying to sell you a solar
panel by any chance, was he?

No it was the Roadpro guy that said my chargers, alternator and mains,
would only charge to about 60% capacity. This is why he recommended
his B2B charger.
