I ordered my Myford with their version of the Dickson type toolpost and
a range of toolholders. These have proved very good and are solid and
easily adjustable for height. I've heard that some toolholders from
other suppliers dont fit so well due to imprecise alignment of the Vs
but I have never found this to be a problem and I now have over 20
toolholders collected from various sources which all work fine. I've
never had a toolholder work loose under load which is another reported
problem.
Myford still offer this option but they are also readily available
elsewhere.
Another really useful Myford accessory is the quick change rear
toolpost based on the same design.
