I've lived in a few different places and if I did it again it would have
to be an english speaking country because my language learning skills
are awful and it was just plain frustrating sometimes. I would
definitely pick a place that was not too humid. I think Florida would be
nice although they get a a lot of rain in June/July

My sister and brother in law have had a house in Florida for a number of years, besides one in the Isle of Wight. The one in Florida has been for sale for a long time, but there is difficulty in accepting a purchaser and getting the money out :-((
