I'm using decking timber as it seems to be a very durable product but II sued scaffolding planks <snip>
guess you could use any kind of planking so long as it's tanilised and so
will not rot. I had plastic ones at my last house but I prefer the natural
look of wood myself.

The typo stuff is something to do with newsgroups, I swear. I don't
make half the same number of mistakes if I'm typing a letter or other
document. I learned to touch type years and years ago and am (usually)
a very fast and accurate typist but sometimes......!

I think the media witch hunt over that was awful. It is indeed the job
of his office staff to make sure such things are checked and re-checked
and that he is given the correct information. Knowing he has a severe
eyesight problem should make his secretarial staff especially vigilant.
