Our very FIRST Competition

Well we all seem to have news, good to see the posts coming in thick
and fast.

My news is that Pointer and I will be doing our very first
competition, can yu believe it, taken us 5 years to get there. We are
doing a TREC competition, newcomers of course and doing the times
gaits and obsticle course thing.

So timed gaites, ah well yes, that will be interesting, lucky for me I
have a horse that is extremely forward going in walk, he is excellent
for firm thighs as you can hardly put your leg on him without shooting
forward - lol

So plan is to make up the points when having to do the canter over the
same times section, problem is I also have a forwrd going horse in
canter, hmmmmmmm

Obsticles, maybe not too bad, rein back, erm, yes well, will practice
with Teresa at the weekend.

Now its either going to be a good day and we get round (in a Julie and
Pointer fashion) or he will just simply blow his brains, plant his
feet and just totally loose it.

Will report, itso n 16th November in Leeds

Yay

(ps keep it to yourselves, I have not told him yet)
