The pricing of horses always seems arbatory to me.
the little pony i'm riding at the mo is for sale - £2k and she won't load!!
lovely every other way, jumps hacks etc but you couldn't use her to her full
potential unless it was all hacking distence away. of course I'd love to
swoop in and offer £1500 cash and then justr spend weeks if necessary
tesching her to load!!!
i guess deals can be had if your willing to haggle and then be confident in
your ability to deal with them.

I would buy a horse if its only fault was it would'nt load - if I knew
the problem was more than likely human based anyway. I bought a horse
once that took 2 hours to load to get it home - it was only three ,
and was so manic it would throw itself over backwards rather than load
yet was as quiet as anything to ride and deal with. Within one month
it was walking in and out of the wagon following behind me on a slack
rope - and I really did'nt do much except ( and this is totally
politically incorrect but I will take the flaming) make sure it knew
exactly who was the boss from the go get - no fannying about with
carrots and things that i think actually reward bad behaviour - it got
a few swift broom bristles up the jacksie -only had to do that ONCE
and from then on it took less and less time to load until it just
followed me up and down the ramp as I said on a slack
rope..HOWEVER......my sis had a horse that has had an accident in a
trailer and would load in a wagon ok but go no where near a trailer -
i can understand that and would'nt try to get the horse into a
trailer.
