I binned it this morning, it was like a brick, the sugar from the
marshmallow had caramelised (didn't know I coud do that, but thats a side
issue). Anyhow, will try the fairy cakes today and see what happens, if
not think I will not bother. I shall go back to trying to cook as opposed
to bake.

Why not just start with some much simpler recipes, eg flapjacks or chocolate
rice krispie cakes? Although you need to be sure not to overcook flapjacks.
