Ok laura suggested it so here goes

I started posting around 2000 and my handle used to be 'Cowgirl'

Now live in Alberta Canada near Red Deer and on a clear day can see the snow
capped Rockies from our front yard.

Since posting I have owned Opal , Palomino QH 15hh who I had to sell when we
moved back to UK for a couple of years. In UK I had Buddy -Paint colt I
bought from Canada and Dexi Can WB who came back as well. I started Dexi
but he grew too big for ickle me - big softy but at 17hh middle weight type
and me 5'3" I felt overhorsed. he was sold to Stacey Shimmons an event rider
from darn sarf who has since sold him to a client but she is still eventing
him at pre pre not very good level LOL! His mature male owner loves him and
says he is a fantastic fellow with manners to spare which makes me a very
proud mum - i could never imagine Dexi eventing - the dressage yes - but
jumping - he was always a 'OMG whats that' at a pole on the ground, then
''ok well I'll jump it but I'm gonna give it 3ft clearance' LOL.

I started Buddy in Uk and he was so laid back but unfortunately we had a
nasty accident and I smashed up my arm and lost my confidence. I started to
ride him again but tensed up everytime he put a foot wrong which was no good
for him so I sold him to a great guy for western riding - a 'horse of a
lifetime' he told me - I was sad to see him go as i had had him since he was
4 months old, but he has a great home.

Then I got Khan - fantastic arab supposed to be bomb-proof but turned out
spooky looky and not just with me as I thought it was me due to losing my
confidence but he did it with everyone. He had won lots and lots showing so
I sold him on through a showing Yard and actually made quite a bit of a
profit - only had him 6 weeks but knew he was'nt for me.

since then I've been horseless as we decided to move back to Canada. We now
have a place with land so I am looking around. as it gets very cold here in
the winter - around minus 25C - I think I might wait until spring, excepti\
if something exceptional comes up.
