We supplied a 17" MacBookPro to a customer. Two grand plus.
Are you in the business of inflating prices? I've got a 17" MBP here,
£1500. It was actually cheaper than any similar spec Core2Duo laptop
available at the time. Even Novatech couldn't match the price.

Yup, I can still get one for the same price, except the HDD is now twice
as big and it has twice as much RAM and the CPUs run 25% faster.
To pay over two grand I'd be looking at enterprise server in a laptop
spec. Did the customer tick every "optional extra" box he could find?

Sod paying Mac prices. I recently bought a 16.4" laptop, Intel duo
core 2. Ghz, 1066hz FSB, 320 Gb HDrive, High Def(full 1080), Blu-ray player, 512Gb dedicated Geeforce Graphic card, 5.1 Dolby Home Theatre output, HDMI output, N WLAN, Bluetooth,Webcam. £690 delivered.
It is a Windows laptop, so you will have grief with it.
