I need to change the address on my Photo licence but it's due for renewal in 9 months anyway.

I don't really want to be without a licence for both these transactions (I frequently need it to hire a car) but if I don't change the address, I won't get the renewal reminder.

So, is there some sort of overlap period where I can renew early at the same time as changing my address?

You can apply to renew your photograph at any time:- I suggest you contact the DVLA beforehand to check what's needed to do both address and photo at the same time. The contact number for Driver Licensing Enquiries is 0870 240 0009 or you can email them direct on drivers.dvla@xxxxxxxxxxxx
